Since over 15 years Alicja has been teaching the violin. Having started with kindergarden children as young as 4 year old, she later became a teacher in a music school in Warsaw and worked with violin students who were preparing exams to music academies around the world.
While living in Bern in 2011-2014 she was giving private lessons of violin and viola. She worked with very young children as well as older students and adults, who had always dreamt of playing an instrument. This lead her to be a coach at the Jugend Sinfonie Orchester Konservatorium Bern and a concertmaster and a coach at the Interlaken Orchesterverein.
Although living in Basel, since 2015 she has been an assistant at Academy of Art in Szczecin, Poland, where she is teaching violin, chamber music and contemporary music.
LITTLE VIOLIN SCHOOL
Little Violin School was created to give you the possibility to learn how to play the violin and learn about music in the most consistent and efficient way. Every student is particular and should be approached in an individual way, therefore the teaching method includes personalised elements of different technics (Suzuki school, games, building repertoir considerring the interest of the student, reaching out to French, German or Polish violin schools).
Lessons take place in the Little Violin School Studio (Leimgrubenweg 9b, 4053 Basel). It is also possible to have a lesson at the student's house, if requested.
