As summer has started so has our very intensive work with Concept Store Quartet. We spent half of July locked in “the air-conditioned Studio 1” working our fingers to the bones over five new pieces. Listening to advices of Uli Fussenegger (Klangforum Wien), Melise Mellinger (Ensemble Recherche), Christian Dierstein (Ensemble Recherche) and our amazing coach Antoine Françoise (Ensemble Nikel/Ensemble Contrechemps/Le NEC) we learnt 1,5 hour of program. All that to get ready for the end of August and Nicati Competition. 

The first round (25.08) went by smoothly, although 26 other ensembles competing with us, and to our joy we went to the second. Then tension got even higher as we were informed that evening that out of 8 groups we were chosen to play in the finals! That concert happened on 31.08.2019 in Dampfzentrale in Bern. It was a great joy to hear our name as the winners of the 1st Prize as well as the Public Prize! So many amazing compliments and handshakes! We couldn’t be more happy!
