NOMOZART at Lucerne Festival 2017

I have gone through a lot of changes recently. In the last days I had to move out and move in twice and I ended up being back to Lucerne to finish the Young Performance Project. The video we shot in June and some pictures and interviews are allover the city which makes it exciting and much more real than it was in the last two sessions :)

Arriving today let me participate in the Special Day of the Festival. I was entangled into several events around KKL and among great concerts with Kodaly’s Hary Janos (Basel Symphony Orchestra and Kristina Poska) and Bartok’s Divertimento (Festival Academy Orchestra with my favourite Gregor A. Mayrhofer) we saw Mozart’s Idomeneo in a very special version. The director invited immigrants to be a constructive part of the team. The story of the opera melted with the personal stories of the refugees and created a very touching picture with a strong message. I find it a very important element of this last phase in Lucerne.

Art is freedom. Art is your identity.
